The new UltraClamp is a powder coated aluminum alloy clamp measuring only 2.25”x 3.25” x 1.125”. It has a maximum. jaw opening of 1.5”
The larger UltraClamp 2.5 has a 2.5” jaw opening.
The 1” rubber pad on the screw disk and a rubber coated notched base on the anvil will not mar sensitive surfaces, can clamp to flat or round objects, and can be used with the UltraMount or other ball & socket heads.
Model # UCA-T & UCA2.5-T include the Ultraclamp, Ultramount & 5/8” thread adapter.
Model #UCA-2T & UCA2.5-2T include the Ultraclamp, Ultramount and both 3/8 & 5/8 adapters.

    The UltraPod I (smaller) & UltraPod II (larger) are compact, light weight, stable mini tripods with a ball & socket head. The unique Velcro strap allows it, when closed, to be attached to a round object (stand, tree limb, etc.). The pointed tips of the Ultrapod I when closed, enable it to be used as a ground stake.
The Ultramount is a ball head with 1/4-20 top & bottom threads. It can rotate on the Ultraclamp at 45 degree indexed increments
Ultrapods & Ultramounts are injection molded from fiberglass reinforced nylon with aluminum threaded components.

MICROgrip & MINIgrip by Matthews is being introduced as the newest line of grip and mounting products developed especially for the motion picture, television and photographic production industries. This broad range of products has been developed around the MICROgrip head with only a 1.25” (32mm) diameter, and tapped 3/8” rods of various lengths.
The MINIgrip head is 2.15” diam (55mm), adds a 5/8” receiver and is compatible with MICROgrip rods.
MICROgrip is great in the studio for table top and product imaging as well as miniature work. The micro-griphead allows all of the moves and features of its bigger 2-1/2” counterpart but in a smaller package. The MINIgrip head provides a 5/8” receiver bit more holding power.
 Accessories to the MICRO / MINIgrip head include various lengths of 3/8” rods, weighted bases for increased stability, clips to hold props and objects, and micro shot bags plus a wide variety of micro scrims and flags.
The creative professional image maker will discover many uses and applications for MICROgrip that will allow them to quickly expand their creativity with more satisfying results.

A further development by Matthews from the MICROgrip series of products is the highly maneuverable and quite versatile on-camera light/monitor mount called MICROmount.
MICROmount is a light/monitor mount utilizing two of the micro-gripheads and three lengths of 3/8” rod to create a highly flexible mount. This will allow the photographer to get the on-camera light up from the camera body, thus enabling the light to be positioned to either side and creating the more desirable ‘dimensional’ lighting effect rather than ‘flat’ lighting.
While the basic MICROmount light/monitor mount is supplied with three 4” rods, the creative photographer can add longer rods to create dramatic and creative lighting effects with the on-camera lighting fixture.
 The MICROmount light/monitor mount will also serve as an on-camera monitor mount as its flexibility will allow for the monitor placement to be almost anywhere! Add just a few more MICROgrip components and the MICROmount can support an on-camera light and monitor or even two monitors from the same support system.
